Marcia Barrett: новый сольный альбом готов к выпуску

Солистка оригинального состава Boney M. Марсия Баррэтт (Marcia Barrett) опубликовала на своём официальном сайте новое обращение к своим поклонникам.
Во-первых, певица выражает признательность всем, кто прислал поздравления в её адрес по случаю дня рождения, которое она отметила в начале этого месяца. Сообщения пришли в гостевые книги двух вэб-сайтов Марсии, а также на её аккаунт в facebook и по электронной почте.
Во-вторых, легенда Boney M. поделилась приятной новостью, сообщив, что её очередной сольный альбом закончен и она надеется опубликовать его ещё до новогодних праздников.
Новинка содержит 15 трэков, некоторые из которых она записала совместно со своим мужем, Маркусом Джеймсом (Marcus James хорошо известен как басист популярного на рубеже 80-х-90х певца с островов Вест-Индии Эдди Гранта).
Марсия сообщает что диск будет очень разнообразным и что она с увлечением работала над этими композициями.

Hello Fanmily & Friends,

Golden October greetings to everybody. Allow me to express, how very special and loved I feel in receiving my birthday greetings from you all day on the 14th. Lots of telephone calls as well as private E-Mails and postings in both my guestbooks and Facebook site. W O W!!!

I am indeed honoured and will enjoy the reminiscence of my beautiful day. Being in "CLOUD NINE" is extreamly rewarding. Thank you most sincerely.

I know that most of you are wondering when my upcoming CD will be published and if at all finished with the recordings. YES! YES! the latter is reality. It was completed a couple of months ago.

Sharing with you the facts that since my "Boney M" days, I`ve not approached record labels with my "Solo Work" but decided to do so now at this stage of my career. On the other hand, this route is taking more time than the DOWNLOAD route. I`m in the process of that and is aiming for it to be published before the festive season begins.

You`ll be getting fifteen tracks, also with Marcus introducing his vocal skills on a few of our calaboration as writing partners over the years. This is a very diverse CD and we had fun in the making.

Let`s join hands in prayers that another dream of mine will come through, like all my lifetime dreams and goals. You are going to enjoy so SIT TIGHT!!!
