On the first channel of Russian television in the evening, March 7, 2012, the next festival "Legends of Retro FM" was shown. Actually, the action itself was held on December 17, 2011 and everyone traditionally expected a television version on New Year's Eve. However, as we reported earlier, this did not happen.
The bosses of Channel One decided to stage a program on the eve of the March 8 holiday, so that the audience heated up by the post-election passions could distract themselves from the rallies "for" and "against" the newly made emperor of Russia, as well as fights on social networks.
Those who had already started drinking vodka, apparently, did not pay too much attention to what was shown on the screen. On the other hand, the teetotalers noted that about half of the numbers presented in the original show, which took place in the Olimpiyskiy sports and concert complex, were missing from the television version.
So, for example, the legendary pop duo of the 90s LA BOUCHE appeared with only one composition "Sweet Dreams", and the ERUPTION group with star Precious Wilson, music editors, apparently, decided to forever associate with only two hits "I Can't Stand the Rain "and" One Way Ticket ". The fact that the singer performed two or three more wonderful songs from her rather extensive repertoire did not bother the censors at all. And this despite the fact that it has long been clear to any sane lover of popular music in Russia that it is bad manners to launch artists with a couple of the same hits at almost all such events (including numerous "Disco 80s").
But alas ... The stupid motto "hits, only hits and nothing but hits" threatens to bury the most popular Russian music festivals in the next year or two. If repertoire politics on TV does not expand, it will almost certainly happen. In the meantime, enjoy what they give...
На Первом канале российского телевидения вечером, 7 марта 2012, отгремел очередной фестиваль "Легенды Ретро FM". Собственно, само действо проводилось ещё 17 декабря 2011 и все традиционно ожидали телевизионную версию в новогоднюю ночь. Однако, как мы сообщали ранее, этого не произошло. Боссы Первого канала решили поставить программу накануне праздника 8 марта, чтобы разгорячённая послевыборными страстями публика смогла бы отвлечься от митингов "за" и "против" новоиспечённого императора всея Руси, а также жарких схваток в соцсетях.
Те, кто уже начал пить горькую, видимо, не слишком обращали внимание на то, что показывали на экране. Зато трезвенники отметили, что в телевизионной версии отсутствовало около половины номеров, представленных в оригинальном шоу, проходившего в спортивно-концертном комплексе "Олимпийский".
Так, например, легендарный поп-дуэт 90-х LA BOUCHE появился всего лишь с одной композицией "Sweet Dreams", а звезду группы ERUPTION Прэшес Уилсон (Precious Wilson) музыкальные редакторы, по всей видимости, решили навсегда связать лишь с двумя хитами "I Can't Stand the Rain" и "One Way Ticket". Тот факт, что певица исполнила ещё две или три замечательных песни из своего довольно обширного репертуара, цензоров нисколько не смутил. И это при том, что любому вменяемому любителю популярной музыки в России давно ясно, что запускать артистов с парой одних и тех же хитов чуть ли не на всех подобных мероприятиях (включая многочисленные "Дискотеки 80-х") - это моветон.
Но увы... Тупой девиз "хиты, только хиты и ничего кроме хитов" грозит похоронить самые популярные российские музфестивали в ближайший год-два. Если репертуарная политика на ТВ не расширится, это произойдёт почти наверняка. Ну а пока наслаждайтесь тем, что дают...
